Since the rule amendments did not pass, the previously amended rule language remains in effect:
- Rule 1111 - Reduction of NOs Emissions from Natural-Gas-Fired, Fan-Type Central Furnaces (Amended September 1, 2023)
- Rule 1121 - Control of Nitrogen Oxides from Residential Type, Natural-Gas-Fired Water Heaters (Amended September 3, 2004)

Staff revised the rule concept after receiving numerous comments from stakeholders. A public Working Group Meeting was held on February 13, 2025, and a Public Consultation was held on March 6, 2025, to describe the changes to the rule language.
